M’ABEE NAMED ON

PROGRAM COMMITTEE

Colonel Philip W. McAbee, 416 East Washington street, president of the Hemingray Glass company, has been named by Governor Branch as a member of the program committee to ar­range the observance of National De­fense day, September 12. The chief program to be staged in Indiana will be at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indi­anapolis, where members of the Indi­ana National Guard, the Reserve corps and the regular army contin­gents stationed at the fort will join in the parade.

In addition to Mr. McAbee, the ar­rangement committee will consist of Major Maurice Tennant, of Indianap­olis. chairman; Major John P. Good­win, Brookville, Judge Robert C. Baltzell of Princeton; Lieutenant-Colonel Bowman Elder, of Indianapolis; Brig­adier General Gignilliat, Culver, and Lieutenant Colonel Francis M. Glover, Indianapolis.
