M’ABEE NAMED ON
PROGRAM COMMITTEE
Colonel Philip W. McAbee, 416 East Washington street, president of the Hemingray Glass company, has been named by Governor Branch as a member of the program committee to arrange the observance of National Defense day, September 12. The chief program to be staged in Indiana will be at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis, where members of the Indiana National Guard, the Reserve corps and the regular army contingents stationed at the fort will join in the parade.
In addition to Mr. McAbee, the arrangement committee will consist of Major Maurice Tennant, of Indianapolis. chairman; Major John P. Goodwin, Brookville, Judge Robert C. Baltzell of Princeton; Lieutenant-Colonel Bowman Elder, of Indianapolis; Brigadier General Gignilliat, Culver, and Lieutenant Colonel Francis M. Glover, Indianapolis.
