KCGW is preparing to enlarge for making battery jars

Preparing to Enlarge.

 

Chas. Tigner of the King City Glass Works is in New York City making arrangements for the enlargement of the plant at this place. Upon Mr. Tigner’s return the factory will be thoroughly over-hauled and remodeled, and in ad­dition to the manufacture of insulators the necessary equipment will be put in for making battery jars on a large scale. The factory now has several large orders for insulators which will take several weeks to fill.

The King City Glass Works, while not a large concern, has perhaps furnished as much steady employment as any factory in Fairmount.
