ARE PUTTING IN MACHINES. Six are Being Set in Old Dillon Factory — Employes Not Worried. There seems to be a well founded rumor that once more Wilson & McCulloch will try to manufacture fruit jars by a blowing machine instead of the old way. Six of these machines are being put in shape at the old Dillon factory. Improvements are being made at the King City, but as yet no machines have unloaded there. It is not known what the intention is at this factory, but the prevailing opinion seems to be that men will do the blowing this fire as usual. It is not known what make of machine they have. Several old employes have been broached on the subject, but they do not seem to the least worried, as they say machines are not a success. The firm as yet has given no date when they will start. |
