REPORT OF JURORS.
To the Board of Commissioners of the
Fifth Cincinnati Industrial Exposition:
GENTLEMEN — We the undersigned, appointed as Judges on queensware and glassware exhibited at the Fifth Annual Cincinnati Industrial Exposition, beg leave to submit the following report:
For the line of queensware there were two entries, viz: TEMPEST, BROCKMAN & Co., and FREDERICK DALLAS, Manufacturers, of Cincinnati. The first named entered for premium, the latter for exhibition only; the premium was awarded to TEMPEST, BROCKMAN & Co., as being fully entitled to the same in all respects. The display of FREDERICK DALLAS we cheerfully mention as being very good indeed, and we can only congratulate our citizens upon having such anufacturers with us capable of producing goods of such quality.
The display of foreign and home-made goods of F. SHULTZ & Co. was the only one for premium, for which they were awarded the same.
JOHN A. MOLLENHOFF made an unusual fine display in his line of goods, and deserves particular mention of the same.
HEMINGRAY & Co. and LEWIS & NEBLETT were competitors in the exhibition of glassware. The premium was awarded HEMINGRAY & Co. as being the finest. The display of each of these exhibitors merits praise.
For yellow ware there was but one exhibitor, viz: COULTER & MALONY, to whom was awarded the premium — the quality and finish entitling them to the same.
JOSEPH S. HILL,
H. F. WEST.
