SALAMANDER
LIGHTNING CONDUCTORS!
Patented July 3d, 1855, by Robert D. Dwyer.
THESE Rods are known to be the best ever used for the perfect protection of all descriptions of Buildings, Farm Houses, Public Works, etc.
The Insulator consists of a flint glass stand, which is attached to the building by hold-fasts or screws, so formed as that the combination of the clamp and Insulator is perfected by the rod passing through the clamp and over the glass, thereby connecting the entire three without the intervention of any other fastening whatever.
This construction is simple, formed of durable materials—the insulation is perfect—thus avoiding all the defects of other Lightning Rods now in use.
