The Canton Clay and Insulator Company, with a capital stock of $30,000, is one of the new industries to be established at Canton, Ohio. They are rebuilding the old partly burned plant of the Champion Stoneware Company for their use. Wm. Dannemiller and W. T. Schario, of Canton, and W. P. Ginther, of Akron, have charge at present. Other capitalists are expected to help. A competent superintendent has been hired and insulators and clay specialties will be made.
