JUSTICE TO SOUTH CAROLINA. — Editors National Intelligencer; — About one year ago I procured of you a notice in the Intelligencer of some beautiful specimens of procelain [sic] porcelain ware, sent me as a present by the late Dr. G. M. Newton, of Augusta, Ga., who was President of the Company that manufactured it. The organization of the Company led me into error as to location of the deposit of the Kaolin and the Company's works. Both are near Augusta but on the South Carolina side of the Savannah river. They belong to my native and not to my adopted state.

                                          Very respectively,

                                                               JOSHUA HILL.

House of Representatives, Feb. 16, 1859.
