OVERLAND TELEGRAPH COMPANY.
The Overland Telegraph Company was incorporated to-day. Its purpose is to construct, run, hold, and work lines of telegraph partly within the State of California, and partly beyond its limits. The general route of the principle lines of telegraph of said Company shall be—
1. Between San Francisco and Salt Lake City, via Sacramento, Placerville and Carson City.
2. Between San Francisco and El Paso.
The capital stock is $1,250,000, in shared of $100 each.
H. W. Carpenter, of Oakland has 1,200 shares; J. M McDonald and J. M Hubbard, J. Mora Moss, F. MacCrellish and James Street, 600 each; Henry S. Dexter 260; Daniel S. Roberts, R. E. Brewster and James Gamble, 100 shares each. The certificate does not name any trustees.
