A Convention of Lantern Makers.
The American Lantern Manufacturers’ Association began its animal convention at the Grand Hotel yesterday, and continued in session until late in the evening. Most of the day was taken up with the schedule of prices which it was intended should be uniformly complied with, by the various manufacturers of the country. The list was finally agreed upon, with the exception of some items to be discussed to-day. Among the firms represented were the following:

A permanent organization will be formed to-day, and officers are to be elected for the ensuing year.
