Muncie, Indiana Plant.
From Charleston I went with President Maloney to Muncie, Indiana. The Owens-Illinois Company took over the Hemingray plant there. We organized this plant, but shortly afterward it closed down and has not operated since.

Muncie, Indiana.
On Labor Day, 1932, I delivered the Labor Day speech at Marion. Our branch, in connection with the Marion local of the A. F. G. W. U. put on a successful celebration, for which they deserve great credit. The labor movement of Marion had completed a new Labor Temple which was dedicated that day. President Gilhooley made the dedication address in the morning, and in the afternoon I spoke at a celebration in the beautiful park. The Mayor of the city and the United states Senator Robinson made fitting speeches, be large and colorful audience.
