Local Union No. 50 has been organized about three years. At present we have thirty members. Several members of old Local Union No. 23 have declared their intention of renewing their cards. We do not claim much on the fishing game as our best fishermen are working in Dunkirk. But we do claim the largest and the smallest mould maker.
Mr. W. P. Zimmerman, manager of Owens-Illinois Glass Company, reports that he is very much pleased to be in production on insulators and glass brick. The manufacturing of glass brick being on a productive basis in such short time is to be complimented as it was a new unit and new to all concerned. In a very short time they expect to make glass tile which is also a new unit. With plenty of orders the outlook for 1935 seems to be very good.
