NOTICE
Articles of Association of the United States Pottery Company.
TO ALL MEN TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS MAY COME, BE IT KNOWN:
THAT we, Jason H. Archer, Henry Willard, Christopher W. Fenton, Samuel H. Johnson and Oliver A. Gager, have associated and do hereby associate ourselves together, under the provisions of an Act of the Legislature of the State of Vermont, approved December 5th, 1853, entitled “An act providing for the organization of private corporations.”
The purpose of this Association is to engage in the business of manufacturing Earthen and other Pottery Wares, at Bennington, in the State of Vermont, and to engage in the sale and manufacture of such wares, under the corporate name of the “United States Pottery Company.”
The amount of the capital stock of said corporation is Two Hundred Thousand Dollars, in shares of Twenty-Five Dollars each, and said corporation is to continue for the time of thirty years from the date hereof.
