MUNCIE, IND.

By Fred E. West

Members of Local Union No. 50 are very well pleased with the report of the convention held at Jeannette, Pa. Wm. Jenkins, our delegate, wishes to thank other delegates, officers and local people of Jeannette for the swell treatment and good times he enjoyed while at the convention.

Owens-Illinois Glass Co. is progressing very nicely with their brick and tile with one tank in operation and all former employes working full time.

Ball Bros. Glass Co. seems to be enjoying a very good year with five tanks in operation, three shifts per day. Members of Local Union No. 50 who are employed at Ball Bros. are more than pleased with reports from the convention and are very anxious to have something come about so they will be recognized and work in regulation with the American Flint Glass Workers' Union. About half of the mould makers are either carrying cards, or have intentions to do so in the near future.

Well, that's all, as we have to get ready for the big picnic for all of our local.
