KAOLIN WATER PIPES—We witnessed this morning a test made by Mr. Farrar, of the Kaolin Works, of the strength of the Water Pipes made there, and which are offered as a practical substitute for the metals in conveying water through cities. There can be no doubt of the capacity of the pipe to resist any desired pressure; about 1900 lbs. were applied to a six inch pipe, without any effect upon it. --August Dispatch.
