MUNCIE, IND.

By Fred E. West

Local Union No. 50 voted to accept John Buchor, 80 year old retired mould maker, as an honorary member. Mr. Buchor served his time in Switzerland and has been in this country about 50 years with the old Hemmingray [sic] Hemingray Glass Co. for 35 years.

Guests at last meeting were Mr. Marks, organizer for state labor, and Mr. Jake Fry, president of Muncie Trade Council, giving talks on organization. The local voted favorably to joining both and elected delegates.

Brother Jenkins, delegate from Local Union No. 50, wishes to compliment the Arrangement Committee, especially Brothers Gillespie and Metz, for their splendid work at the convention.
