FIVE GOLFERS DEFAULT

Five golfers defaulted in the first round of the Hemingray cup race at the Hamilton Country Club Wednesday. Durrell, Nicholas, Hills, Droster and Alexander won matches by default. Wilkinson defeated Wernke, 3 up; Lougheed defeated Simpson, 4 to 2, and Mackelfresh defeated Schawe, 2 to 1.
