COAL WILL BE
USED FOR FUEL
New Furnaces Are Being Installed
at the Hemingray Plant and Operations
Will Continue Steadily.
An important change is soon to be made at the Hemingray glass works, when the furnaces will all be changed from gas to coal, for fuel. The supply of gas has been very unsatisfactory for some time and Mr. Hemingray, realizing the necessity of his plant operating steadily, decided to place coal furnaces in the building. This is being done, one furnace at a time, and will soon be completed. When the new fuel system is inaugurated, the factory will be able to operate steadily. The demand for the ware made by the Hemingray company is so great that additional improvements are contemplated at the end of the present fire.
