USE COAL FOR FUEL
In New Reservoir Furnace at
Hemin. gray Glass Works.
The Hemingray Glass company will soon be ready to start another furnace in which coal will be used for fuel instead of two gas tanks as has been the custom for some time. The new furnace will not be put in operation for some time unless some of the other departments give way, being held in reserve so that the capacity of the plant will not be interfered with should any accident occur.
The company makes a specialty of insulators, and large shipments of these have been sent out recently. A big shipment was seen in Denver recently by a Muncie man, who said that he never got so far away from home that he could not see products from Muncie factories.
