YOUNG HEMINGRAY IS

SENT TO THE WORKHOUSE

Convicted of Beating a Board Bill,

Fined $100, and Sentenced for

Thirty Days.

Robin Hemingray, a former resident of this city, at one time prominent in local social circles, is now doing time in the workhouse at Cincinnati, having been convicted and fined for beating a hotel bill in that city. The charge against Hemingray was preferred by the management of the Honing hotel. He was given a fine of $100 and a thirty day sentence.

Hemingray has wealthy relatives in Covington, Ky., and elsewhere. A report from Cincinnati states that none of them came to his assistance. Hemingray left Muncie several years ago and until recently had been following the race horses. At one time he owned a string of horses and was reputed to have had a large bank roll.
