ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED.
The engagement and approaching marriage of Miss Carrol Hemingray and Philip W. McAbee, both well-known young people of this city, was announced Thanksgiving day at a dinner given by the father of the former, Ralph Hemingray, at their home, 411 East Gilbert street. The announcement was not made known to the public until yesterday. Miss Hemingray is one of the city's best-known young society women and is a highly cultured, popular young lady. Mr. McAbee is a prominent young man, who has lived in Muncie for several years, coming here from Cleveland, O. He is the secretary and treasurer of the Indiana Pipe company. The date of the wedding has not been decided, but it will be solemnized in April.
