SOUTHERN PORCELAIN. — There are now on exhibition at Louisville, Kentucky, several specimens of porcelain from the Southern Porcelain Company of Augusta, Georgia, made at the Kaolin pottery in South Carolina, nearly opposite to Augusta. These specimens are attracting attention, and convincing capitalists that porcelain ware can be manufactured in the South and sold to the people for a less price than that paid for northern and foreign ware.
