HAS SOLVED

FUEL PROBLEM

R. G. Hemingray, president of the Hemingray Glass company at Muncie, has unfolded a scheme of the manufacturers of the gas belt to solve the fuel problem.

The plan is to build large electric power houses in the coal fields of southern Indiana and connect the plants at Muncie, Anderson, Elwood, Alexandria and Marion with the power houses by cable.

Hemingray said that the coal facilities in that section were limited because there is a prohibitive freight rate.
