The UNION PORCELAIN WORKS, located at Greenpoint, N.Y., have achieved a great celebrity of late years for the manufacture of hard porcelain of china ware of superior quality. Nearly all the great summer hotels along our sea coasts, together with those situated in inland places, are supplied with china from this establishment, and the constantly increasing number of orders received from new places shows how well the quality of the ware suits its purposes. The names or monograms of the persons who order goods are imprinted on each piece, if so desired, and the decorations are executed in the highest style of the art, according to any design wanted. This is especially convenient for large hotels where there are sudden great "rushes" of business, for, upon the accidental breakage of any of the pieces, duplicates can at once be procured, and thus valuable sets are maintained intact. This establishment also makes a specialty of hard porcelain hardware trimmings, door knobs, drops and roses, telegraph insulators, electric gas burners, finger plates, number plates, etc. Dealers will find it to their advantage to communicate with them.
