A dispatch dated Montreal, June 9, says. The works of the North American Glass Company at Hochelaga, were burned today, including the workshops, sheds, buildings, plant and appliances. The damage is estimated at $150,000; partially insured. Ward D. Yule owned the works. A substantial two story building, covering three acres of land with all the valuable machinery and stock contained in warehouses was consumed. Over 500 employes will be deprived of work for a considerable time, which they are ill prepared for as they only resumed their places four weeks ago after a strike of five months.
