The Company to Operate the New
Gleason Factory Now Building
Articles incorporating the Gleason-Tiebout Glass Co., of Brooklyn, have been filed with the Secretary of State of New York. The capital stock is $100,000, and the directors for the first year are Cornelius H. Tiebout, Marshall W. Gleason, Cornelius H. Tiebout, Jr., Elliott G. Albee and Perry Gleason, of Brooklyn; Charles F. Gleason, of Flushing, and O. F. Gleason, of Arlington, Mass.
The following announcement has been sent to the trade by the new company:
It is desired to announce that the glass business of the E. P. Gleason Manufacturing Co., of New York, has been taken over by a new corporation to be known as the Gleason-Tiebout Glass Co.
Marshall Wilfred Gleason, who has been the manager of this branch of the business of the E. P. Gleason Manufacturing Co. for the past 20 years, will continue with the new company as president and general manager. The force which he has had associated with him in the various departments will also be retained.
The new corporation sollicits patronage which has been accorded the old company, assuring efficiency and promptness in the handling of all business with which it may be entrusted.
Orders and remittance should be mailed to the office and factory, 93-99 Commercial street, Brooklyn, N. Y., where all business pertaining to this company will be transacted.
