Fire broke out in the plant of the Brunt Porcelain Co., East Liverpool, O., on Monday. The installation of the sprinkler system had just been completed and it worked in a most satisfactory manner. The blaze started from some unknown cause in the kilnshed, and communicated to the dipping department, where considerable damage was wrought. The loss will reach in the neighborhood of $1,000 and is said to be fully covered by insurance.
