The two tank factories of the Western Flint Glass Co., Denver, Col, were destroyed by fire last week. Although the Denver factories were not the property of the Illinois Glass Co., most of their output was purchased and sold by the Alton company, and the fire will handicap them to some extent. An official of the Illinois company stated that many orders for ware were placed with the Denver concern and that it would cause a rearrangement of their order lists at Alton.
