ELECTRIC PORCELAIN PLANT ASSURED.

A. L. Dyke, the promoter of the New Cumberland, W. Va. pottery plant states that the stock has been practically all taken, a sufficinet amount of capital being pledged to justify the purchase of the site and to warrant those in charge to make preparations to start building operations, and it is proposed to have the plant in operations in 60 days. Plans for the new factory have already been prepared and with the specifications will be placed in the hands of the contractors early next week. The main building will be 240x320 feet, all in one floor, with sufficient filling in to avoid the floods which have been so annoying in the past. Eight large kilns will be erected at the beginning and with the three decorating kilns arranged for will enable the owners to turn out a vast amount of ware. Electric porcelain will be the chief output.
