We find it impossible to make collections in Covington. Money is on every body's tongue but in no body's pocket. It would seem that the last dime had been squeezed out. Our friends in the country must have money. We appeal to those of them indebted to this office to remit the amount of their indebtedness. Never since we have been in business have we experienced such tight times; and the smallest favor will be gratefully acknowledged. We do not often make such appeals, and confidently trust this will not be in vain.
