Bob Hemingray was entertaining a traveler and showing him the sights of the town when they encountered the street cars. Bob, in a very quite way, explained in a very inoffensive manner, that their only bad feature was that horses would scare at the sight of them.
The traveler looked at a mogul passing. He smiled not a line, but calmly said, "why, those blamed things would scare a bicycle."
