COVINGTON

APPOINTMENT OF RECRUITING AGENTS — Captain G. W. Berry has revised the list of names published on this subject a few days ago. The following are the persons now authorized to act respectively in their counties:

Kenton County — Jas. L. Foley and Lafayette Shaw; Campbell County . . .

·

·

As the service for which these gentlemen are appointed is short, lasting only a month and four days, (to the 5th of January next) it is hoped that no one will decline the duty expected of him. The people of the various counties should cooperate with these men in their efforts to save the district from a draft by actively assisting with all the means and instrumentalities in their power.
