At the Novelty Glass Mfg. Co.'s plant, Elmer, N. J., where a strike has been on for about a month, the company are trying to operate two presses. Insulators are the only line manufactured and previous to the strike, which is for better conditions and union wages, six presses had been operating with three eight-hour shifts, employing about 100 people.
