Oakman files for insolvency

A schedule of liabilities and assets of the Oakman Mfg. Co., which have been manufacturing glass in Cheshire, Mass., was filed at the probate and insolvency court last week. The assets consist of land and buildings in Cheshire, the glass manufactured and in process of manufacture, tools and fixtures. No price is placed upon these things, but it is thought the assets will not cover the liabilites, which amount to about $40,000, It is not certain whether the firm will settle up with its creditors and continue business or not.
