Mrs. Clifford Shinkle's post-nuptial reception, given at her new home on East Hill, was a notable affair. Mrs. Shinkle wore her wedding gown, a gorgeous creation of white, with pearl trimmings. Mrs. A. Howard Hinkle, Mrs. William Barnes assisted Mesdames George Ingalls and Frank Cross preside at the tea table.
