Dan Hemingray Drops Out

of Board of Water Works

Commissioners.

At the meeting of the Covington Board of Aldermen last night, Mayor Craig stated that he had appointed Dr. A. Schramm, former member of Council, as a Police and Fire Commissioner to succeed Elwood Cree, whose term expires at midnight. Cree did not desire another term in office.

Craig also appointed Dr. Charles G. Pieck to succeed himself as a member of the Park Commissioners, and J. Mason Howk will succeed Dan Hemingray as a member of the Board of Water Works Commissioners. The latter's term also expires tonight.
