Yesterday's Examiner contained a sensational story of woman's love and man's perfidy. One of the leading roles is personified by Tony Powers, at present holding the boards at the Orpheum Theatre, this city.

It appears that one Hemingray has wrought ruin and havoc in the lives of more than one girl, and his latest victim, a beautiful San Francisco girl, has just committed suicide through unrequited love for Hemingray.

Tony Powers refuses to say much about her relations with this man - merely states her regret that she ever met him.
