EASTER PRIZES.
Two Hundred Dollars in Gold.
An Easter Egg Problem Offered By The
Enquirer.
Commencing today, there will be on exhibition in one of the windows of Mabley & Carew a large sized Easter Egg, appropriately painted, in which is a sealed envelope, containing a One Hundred Dollar Gold Certificate.
The Certificate is of a number between 1 and 50,000.
This Easter Egg, with the One Hundred Dollar Gold Certificate, will be presented to the sender of the first correct, or nearest correct guess; if no correct guess is received, of the number on the Gold Certificate in the Easter Egg.
The sender of the second correct, or nearest correct guess, if no correct guess is received, will be presented with $50.
The sender of the third correct, or nearest correct guess, if no correct guess is received, will receive $25.
The sender of the fourth correct, or nearest correct guess, if no correct guess is received, will receive $15.
The sender of the fifth correct, or nearest correct guess, if no correct guess is received, will receive $10.
The certificate was placed in the envelope and sealed at Washington City and is known only to the person who sealed it, and will not be made known until all guesses are in.
The result will be announced on Easter Sunday, March 29, 1891.
CONDITIONS.
This egg-shaped blank will appear daily until March 27th, inclusive. The date thereon will be changed daily. Any reader may compete by filling out a blank or blanks cut from the paper, provided the blanks are mailed to the Easter Prize Editor, Enquirer office, Cincinnati, Ohio, not later that two days after the date of the blank so mailed.
No blank, however, will be received after 6 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 1891.
All blanks received will be properly numbered in the order in which they are received and filed in boxes provided for that purpose.
