Suicide's Body

In Cincinnati.

No One Was at Depot to Receive

Remains of Beautiful

Carlotta Campiglio.

A plain cedar box enclosing the coffin that contained all that was earthly of the beautiful Carl Campiglio, remained for four hours Tuesday morning at the Panhandle depot. The body did not go to New York by way of Cleveland as it was stated. It arrived in Cincinnati from Chicago at 7:45 Tuesday. Only a few trainmen at the Panhandle depot knew that the girl's body was at the depot. A scene was expected at the depot, as it was thought that the beautiful girl's mother would visit the depot. But as the hours wore on no one came to view the plain oblong box. A sort of pity touched one of the trainmen as he thought of the difference of the girl's leaving the city surrounded by friends, little thinking that she would never return alive, and the girl's story was spoken of in whispers. At twenty minutes to 12 an expressman called for the body, and it was taken from the depot.
