Military Service - Ordered to Porto Rico

[Newspaper]

Publication: The Muncie Daily Times

Muncie, IN, United States

TO PORTO RICO MONDAY.

Three Muncie Soldiers Receive Their

Orders to this Effect.

Word has been received from Roy Harrington, Homer Dowell, and Rob Hemingray, who are in the same cavalry troop now stationed in Florida that orders have been received to move for Porto Rico next Monday. They positively believe that this time they will go to Uncle Sam's new West Indies possession. Twice before orders have been given for such a move but each time at the last moment, the instructions were cancelled. The boys write that they are in the best of health and are expecting to have a delightful time in Porto Rico.
