It has been but a few weeks since the Hemingray glass works, of Muncie, Ind., was burned to the ground, yet it is now rebuilt and the works went into operation during the present week. The plant as reconstructed is better than before and will in every way be equal to the old factory. When the machine shops are fitted up the boys will see that they are more complete than before. The Over plant will be ready to start by September 1. These two factories are now supplied with fire protection; the mains having been laid out that way and each factory has purchased 500 feet of hose. Should another conflagration get started they can make a hard fight towards driving back the flames. — National Glass Budget.
