James M. Brookfield, a well known manufacturer of Brooklyn, N. Y., died at Jacksonville, Fla., in January 1892. He was connected with the Dorflinger factory at White Mills, Pa., prior to engaging in business at Brooklyn and was proprietor of the patent glass insulators in such general use on telegraph lines.
