H.L. Dixon experimental glass factory ready this week

The Dixon Company Busy.

 

The H.L. Dixon Co. are kept very busy just now with the large number of contracts for repairs and improvements to plants which they have on their hands. The company have about 40 men scattered over the country on repair work alone, beside the many on the new plants. Among the plants on which they are working are the following: Carolina Glass Co., Columbia, S.C., enlarging and remodeling tank; Nivison Glass Co., Baltimore, Md., erecting an entirely new plant; Monongah Glass Co., Fairmont, W. Va., a new plant; Standard Co-operative Co., Marion, Ind., changing erection of tanks and lehrs; Heinz Bottle Co., Sharpsburg, Pa., building new tank and overhauling old one; Heisey & Co., Newark, O., new furnace. The experimental glass plant near the Dixon works, Carnegie, Pa., will be completed and ready for use this week.
