H. L. Dixon Co. Still Busy.

While not as busy as a few weeks ago, the H. L. Dixon Co. report that they are being kept pretty well employed, having a number of contracts on hand and more coming in. The Hemingray Glass Co., Muncie, Ind., completed the dismantling of their old furnace and Mr. Dixon put his men to work this week laying the foundations for the 12-ton tank which is being constructed for this company. In addition to this, gas producers will be installed. The entire contract will be completed about Dec. 1. The work of changing the old pot furnace for the Rochester, Pa. Tumbler Works to the regenerative system and the installation of producers for the Indiana Glass Co., Dunkirt, Ind., and will hurry this work along. The Dixon experimental plant is working overtime just now. A number of inventors are trying out their machines and applications have been received from many more. This plant will undoubtedly prove of untold service to the glass trade and will probably result in the perfecting of many inventions which are now in their crudest state.
