William Brookfield, proprietor of the Bushwick Glass Works, Brooklyn, N. Y., who recently purchased the Warwick Glass Works, at Glassboro, N. J., has bought the plant recently vacated by the American Bottle Co. at Woodbury. This is the old Estell Works, and consists of an eight-ring continuous tank of the Modes pattern. Mr. Brookfield intends to enlarge this to a ten-ring furnace, and will operate it with three shifts of men per day, giving a capacity equal to thirty shops. |
