Mr. Geo. B. Fowle started East this week for a trip through New England. Mr. Fowle is one of the veterans of the traveling fraternity and has been connected with the glass trade about as long as any man now on the road. In 1859 he became associated with the New England Glass Co., with whom he remained until 1871. From January, 1871, to January, 1872, he was agent for the Bay State Glass Co. From October, 1873, to May, 1874, he was with the O'Hara Glass Co. He then went with Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. and stayed with them until the consolidation in 1891, when he was transferred to the United States Glass Co. He has traveled through New England times without number, and the dealer in glass in that territory that he does not know must be a pretty small buyer.
