Convention week in Chicago brought quite a number of the traveling fraternity as well as proprietors to the metropolis of the West. Messrs. Ripley and Beatty, representing the United States Glass Co., were on hand; Mr. George W. Blair, of the Dithridge, was there, as were Mr. Dalzell, of Dalzell, Gilmore & Leighton; Mr. Lippincott, of the Lippincott Glass Co., Alexandria, Ind.; Mr. Daniel Hemingray, of the Hemingray Glass Co., Muncie, Ind., Mr. Otto Jaeger, of the Seneca Glass Co., Fostoria, O., and Mr. Richmond, of the Rochester Tumbler Co. Thomas P. Donoher, Frank Morse, Sanford Hamilton, and W. C. McMahon were also in town, the latter being on his way to the Pacific slope for the Phoenix Glass Co.
