Death of Wm. Everhart, Popular Glass

Worker, Mourned by Many.

 

The remains of William Everhart, who died at his home on West Powers street, Tuesday evening, were taken to Covington, Ky., his former home, for internment this morning. A short funeral service was held at the St. Lawrence Catholic church by Rev. Father Mulcahey of Anderson. The remains were accompanied from the residence to the church and from there to the depot by fellow workmen of the deceased who was a member of Local union No. 31, of the Flint Glass Workers. Local Union No. 23, employed at the Hemingray plant also assisted. The City band led the cortege. Mr. and Mrs. John McBreen and daughter, Miss Marguerite, accompanied the family.
