The Magic City's Glass Plants.

The Ball Bros.' Glass Mfg. Co.'s immense plant at Muncie, Ind., closed down on Saturday at midnight and will remain idle until Aug. 1. During the shut down a large force of workers will be engaged in making summer repairs and improvements, says the Star, the company having decided to expend a large amount of money for the same.

Owing to the present heavy volume of business the Hemingray glass factory will be closed for only three weeks, and, the same authority says, one furnace will be kept in operation during this time.

The Charles Boldt Glass Co.'s plant was closed down last Saturday night and will resume September 4. It is understood that during the shut down the company will make many improvements.
