Happenings in the Glass Trade, Which Took
Place Fifteen Years Ago, Chronicled by
Commoner and Glassworker Scribes.
The Hemingray flint glass works and the Over window glass factory at Muncie, Ind., were totally destroyed by fire June 18, 1892, resulting in damage amounting to about [dollar: $225,000] with insurance amounting to [dollar: $85,000]. Of this sum [dollar: $40,000] was on the Hemingray plant and [dollar: $45,000] on the Over factory.
