HIGH DEMAND FOR OVEN WARE
For nine months past the H. C. Fry Glass Co., of Rochester, Pa., has been producing oven glass for cooking purposes, and at present an entire furnace, at the North Rochester plant, is devoted to the manufacture of assortments of this character, including casserole and cover, bread bakers, pie plates, brown betty, pt. bean pot, round bakers, oval bakers, oval au gratin, 3 oz. ramekin, and 4 1/2 oz. custards. The demand for glassware of this character is growing by leaps and bounds. Where introduced it would be hard to persuade housewives to go back to utensils formerly in use.
